Account control
Delete your Yobu account
You're in control of your data in Yobu. You can delete some of your data — chats, memories, or individual reminders and notes — without deleting your account, or permanently remove your entire account. Here's how to do each.
Delete only some of your data (keep your account)
You don't need to delete your whole account to remove data. From inside the app you can delete individual items or clear whole categories at any time — the change is immediate and permanent on our servers, and the rest of your account stays intact:
- Individual items — open any reminder, note, to-do, or memory and delete it.
- Clear all chats — Settings → Data → Clear all chats.
- Clear all memories — Settings → Data → Clear all memories.
Delete your entire account
This permanently removes your account and all your data. The fastest way is in-app:
- Open Yobu on your phone.
- Tap Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to Danger zone → Delete account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
That's it. Your account is locked immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days.
Don't have the app installed?
If you can't access the app — phone lost, account locked, or you've already uninstalled — email support@innoventisinfotech.com from the address tied to your account. Subject: Delete my account. We'll verify and process within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (email, name, sign-in credentials).
- All reminders, to-dos, notes, memories, habits (and their completion history and streaks), chats, and uploaded files.
- Notification tokens and device/session records.
- Your support messages, and your email/name on any support tickets, are deleted; any content-safety reports you filed are kept for abuse prevention but unlinked from you.
- Shared reminders you created are removed for everyone; reminders shared with you simply lose you as a member.
- Crash reports tied to your user ID (best-effort — some aggregate diagnostic data may persist in anonymized form).
What does NOT get deleted automatically
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Yobu → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Yobu → Cancel.
If you don't cancel, your subscription will continue billing until the end of the current period. Refunds for unused time are subject to each store's policy.
The 30-day grace period
For 30 days after you delete, your data is retained but inaccessible. If you change your mind, sign in to Yobu within those 30 days and confirm — your account is fully restored.
After 30 days, deletion is permanent. We cannot recover deleted accounts after this point.
Audit and compliance
Yobu retains deletion logs (timestamp, user ID, no personal content) for compliance and abuse prevention. These logs do not contain your reminders, notes, or files.
